Roomly Terms of Service

Roomly lets you capture floor plans with the LiDAR scanner on supported iPhones, view and label them, sync them across your devices, export them as PNG, JPEG, or PDF files, and share them with others via link.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for your use of the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us promptly at info@roomlyscanner.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may delete your account at any time from the app under Settings → Account. Deleting your account permanently removes your account and associated data, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Roomly Pro is offered as a renewable subscription (monthly or yearly) purchased through the Apple App Store using StoreKit. All subscriptions are billed and managed by Apple through your App Store account, including auto-renewal, cancellation, and refunds.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with its policies; we cannot issue refunds ourselves.

Your subscription unlocks unlimited scans and other Pro features described in the app. If your subscription lapses or is revoked, Pro features will no longer be available, but you will continue to have access to your free-tier data.

You retain ownership of the floor plans, projects, notes, tags, and other content you create in the Service (“Your Content”). We claim no ownership over Your Content.

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, worldwide license to host, store, and process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you, including syncing it across your devices and displaying it where you choose to share it. This license ends when you delete Your Content or your account, subject to our retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.

You are solely responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to scan, store, and share it (for example, that you own the property or have permission to record it).

When you share a project, a read-only view becomes accessible to anyone with the unique share link until you revoke it. You are responsible for whom you share links with. We are not responsible for the subsequent distribution of content that someone has accessed or downloaded through a valid share link.

You may not share content that you do not have the right to share or that violates these Terms or applicable law.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users’ accounts; interfering with, reverse-engineering, or circumventing the operation of the Service or its security; scraping, abusing, or overloading the Service; uploading malicious code; or using the Service to violate any law or the rights of others.

We may suspend or terminate access, in whole or in part, for conduct we reasonably determine violates these Terms.

The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content (other than Your Content), is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Your plan exports may include the Roomly branding and disclaimers, which you may not remove. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the Service except as expressly permitted.

Floor plans produced by the Service are generated from LiDAR scanning and are provided for informational purposes only. They are not professional surveys or architectural drawings. You are responsible for verifying measurements before relying on them for any purpose. The Service, including exported plans, is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data will always be available.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HoneyTech Solutions, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account as described above. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of those courts. To the extent you have any rights or consumer protections under the laws of your country of residence that cannot be waived, those rights are preserved.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective date” at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
